The clubs u-9’s concluded their season at the Killeavy blitz this morning. We had two teams entered, u-8.5 (Ogs) and u-9.5 (Gaels). Both performed admirably and were a credit to the club. The Ogs team lost out by one point to Saval in the Shield final but done everyone proud. A special mention to their coaches Mickey McCreesh and Jack Maguire who have done exceptional work with this group. The Gaels team won the Shield, coming out victorious in a very tough final, also against Saval, by two points. Great credit must go to their coaches Sinead Carr and Greg McNally, who have developed this group throughout the year and we look forward to them progressing to u-11’s. Thanks also to Richard Garvey for his support coaching.
Today’s blitz finishes off what was a very productive season and the coaches would like to thank the parents for their commitment throughout the season.
Thanks to Killeavy for invite to Blitz.
