Dromintee continued their recent track record of success in their home blitz with victory today in the girls under 10.5 tournament.
Amid the restrictions imposed by the current public health situation the tournament still went ahead but with a reduced number of teams following a directive from the Ulster Council.
Teams from Antrim, Monaghan, Down, Dublin, Armagh all took part with a round robin series used to ensure the games were a key part of the girls development.
The volunteer effort was huge in ensuring all protocols were followed and the club is extremely grateful to all concerned.
In footballing terms the four teams left standing were St Pauls and Naomh Eanna together with Dromintee and Kilcoo.
After a day of superb football the overall honours went to Dromintee and St Pauls.
Today notably marks five years since the opening of the training pitch and walking track which is one milestone in a huge development process which is now reaping rewards across multiple juvenile teams.
The blitz series continues across this and next weekend and we express our gratitude in advance to all those participating and volunteering
