Dromintee u12.5 girls continued their unbeaten run to win 10 out of 10 games and successfully win the u12.5 divisional league.
Tonight the girls travelled to Derrynoose in extremely wet conditions to face their final opponents for the league title.
The game got off to to a competitve start up to the first water break. The girls settled in and started playing more familiar football up to the half time whistle where their lead was starting to show.
After halftime the girls put on a fantastic display of football where they extended their lead comfortably by the final water break thanks to a run of scores from both kick outs won and also battling for ball in play.
Full time score was Dromintee 5-21 to Derrynoose 1-8. Coaches are very pleased with every girls efforts tonight. Particular thanks to parents for making the journey in poor weather conditions tonight but also for their support all year.
A couple of weeks before we start our championship campaign. Dromintee will be the team all competitors will want to beat now and we ask for all training sessions to be attended in the coming weeks.
