Our Senior mens team took on a well organised Armagh Harps team on their home patch last Sunday.

With injuries causing havoic with player availability for the visitors it gave other players the opportunity to step up and wear the jersey with pride.

Such were the changes in personnel, it took the lads well into the 2nd quarter to settle into their stride. During the first 25 minute period the difference between the two sides was that the home team converted their attacks into scores while the visitors were wasteful clocking up 8-9 wides which on another day they would have converted. At the half way interval, score read, Armagh Harps 1-09 to Dromintee 0-05.

From the start of the 2nd half the Dromintee lads upped the intensity of the game. Both teams exchanged scores over the course of the 3rd quarter with contest a much more evenly matched affair.

It was the last quarter that proved to be the most productive for the Dromintee lads with team out scoring the home side by 0-05 to 0-01 with game finishing on a score line of 1-16 to 0-14

Too little to late but considering the number of players that are currently sidelined with injury it shows the level of caricature and commitment within the panel.

Club would like to wish those injuried a speedy recovery and wish players and management best wishes in their upcoming games.
