Our Senior Men made the short journey to Cloughoge this afternoon and left with 2 valuable points in their quest for Division 1A honours. The game itself was played in true 'derby' conditions with neither side given up anything easy. Our two goals we scored came at the most important times in the game with one from Nial Courtney just before halftime leaving us trailing by the bare minimum at the interval. The Second Half played out much like the first and the team management had to call on numerous substitutions to stay in the game and to their credit that’s what they did before Cathal McKenna pounced for the second goal this time just before the final whistle. Well done to all our players and management involved today and we look forward to welcoming County Champions Maghery at home next Sunday.
