Dromintee minors continued their preparations with a Sunday morning challenge with Saval U16’s. Saval won the game 5:7 to 2:4 and were more clinical in front of goals than the home side who couldn’t convert the many chances that they created during the match. The game produced some fine patches of play with good movement and link play and the result probably doesn’t reflect the closeness of the play. The girls will be back out Wednesday evening next when they take on Cuchullain Gaels / Dowdallshill combination at home as they seek to get a settled team for their championship match later on in the year.
