Dromintee u13s opened their South Armagh Division 1 league campaign with a comfortable home win over near neighbours Mullaghbawn – despite conceding a goal from the opening attack of the game.
The home team were dominant in every sector with the spine of the team standing out to win ball and create scoring opportunities.
The lads moved the ball very well against a busy Mullaghbawn defence and never dropped the pace at which they played throughout, giving the opponents a torrid evening.
The rampaging Fergus Toale top scored with 3-02 on a night when the lads sprung from the bench contributed 3-03.
Tougher assignments lie ahead, starting next week away to Keady Dwyers.
