A WASTEFUL Dromintee just about did enough to secure their second win of the season following a 1-8 to 0-10 win over visitors Armagh Harps.

While the side worked very hard in awful conditions, a lot of their good play was undone by wayward shots.

Still, the side led pretty much from start to finish with Cathal McKenna's goal ensuring that they led by a point at the break, 1-5 to 0-7.

Scores were at a premium after the interval but McKenna (from a free), Niall Courtney and Ryan Hughes all raised white flags that ensured that a late Harps' rally came up just short.

A good result and an excellent effort in really trying conditions.
