Sincere thanks to John Fearon Junior, from the Gap o’ the North Pub, Jonesborough, and Majella Winters from the GOTN Joker Committee, on the generous donation of 500 euro to the Henry McCrink Charity Challenge - in aid of Friends of Cancer and Blood Transfusion NI.
In the spirit of giving back, the Find the Joker event, held each Sunday evening, also raises money for local nominated charities. To date, 8,500 has been donated to worthy charities. These include Dromintee GAC Juvenile Development Fund, Jonesborough PS, the OK Club, Slieve Gullion Scouts, Evora Hospice, St Michael’s Killean GAA and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund in memory of Damian Stanley.
Tomas and Cillian McCrink were delighted to receive this donation, as part of the community fundraising drive.
