Dromintee GAC would like to call a Special General Meeting in order to approve our Club Constitution which has been amended to bring it into line with the Official Guide of the GAA.
At the Executive Meeting on Wednesday 21st January 2026 it was agreed to advise our members that a Special General Meeting will be held at the club to approve and adopt the Club constitution. The date of the proposed Special General Meeting is Wednesday 11th February 2026 at 8 pm in the clubhouse.
In accordance with section 8.7 of the Gaa official guide this Special General Meeting may be called by the Executive Committee provided that ten days clear notice, is provided in writing which shall be given to the members, specifying the purpose of such Special General Meeting. The adoption of the club constitution is the only business proposed at the Special General Meeting.
