On Friday night the eagerly awaited Dromintee GAC Juvenile Awards Night took place in Dromintee Clubrooms. On what was a momentous year for the club all coaches from u6.5 the whole way up to u14 spoke of their pride of all our Juvenile players and congratulated them on a fantastic year at all levels. 

All Kids from u6.5 to u10.5 received certifcates recognising each child's immense commitment and dedication throughout 2025 and these will hopefully have pride of place in their homes. 
 
All coaches thanked the player's family & friends who ensured their children could make their way to training and for their encouragement & support for all teams throughout the year. 

The kids families were also singled out for their immense contribution to the Festivals of Football weekends that took place in August ensuring Dromintee maintained it's standing as one of the most sought after blitz to attend for clubs throughout the island. 

Special thanks was also mentioned to Michelle Geoghegan for all she does promoting our Juvenile teams on all social channels, Packie McDonald for his work ensuring our facilities are amongst the best about & Aidan O Rourke for managing the pitch schedule for all our teams. 

Special mention was given to both Jonesboro & Dromintee Primary Schools who had such an outstanding & historic achievements in 2025 & thanks to all coaches who helped with coaching across the last academic year.

A special award was also presented to Aoife Convery for displaying goalkeeping excellence in 2025 which was fantastic acknowledgement for the brilliant season she had in nets for her club & primary school this year! 

In the Biggest Award of the night the Award for the loudest team of night was DROMINTEE U8.5s in an extremely close screaming contest!! 😱 

Many thanks to all for attending the Juvenile Awards Night on what was a great night for all that could make it & the Dromintee Coaching Committee would like to extend their sincere thanks to all coaches & volunteers who helped in any way in 2025 to ensure the kids had such a fulfilling & rewarding year!
