From the moment Marie arrived home in September 2023 to her passing in March 2024 the level of care, support, and professionalism she received was overwhelming.

Marie was upbeat and positive throughout the whole experience and had a great love and respect for the carers who looked after her.

Marie and the carers hit it off right from the start. The Craic was good, and we can wholeheartedly say it worked both ways. Marie at times offering support and a cup of tea to the carers who were rushed off their feet and spread thin, trying to provide for other sick people on the area.

As a goodwill gesture, we would like to take this opportunity to raise some much-needed funds for the wellbeing of these remarkable carers and make sure they are rewarded for the level of service they provide. We need to make sure people are looked after, in the right frame of mind and feel appreciated to allow the level of care needed to be provided.
