Forkhill GAA invite members of Dromintee GAC to a Drug Awareness talk on Tuesday, 4th February.
The talk is by Sandra Foster Larmour, proud mum to Jeni Larmour from Newtownhamilton, who tragically and undeservedly lost her life on 3rd October 2020, during her first night at Newcastle upon Tyne University after taking ketamine given to her by another while under the influence of alcohol.

🚨 Important Talk on Drug Awareness – Tuesday, 4th February 🚨
Forkhill GAA is hosting an important drug awareness talk, and we encourage all young people and parents to attend.
đź“… Date: Tuesday, 4th February
đź“Ť Venue: Forkhill GAA Clubhouse
Sandra Foster Larmour is proud mum to Jeni Larmour from Newtownhamilton, who tragically and undeservedly lost her life on 3rd October 2020, during her first night at Newcastle upon Tyne University after taking ketamine given to her by another while under the influence of alcohol.
Jeni previously attended Newtownhamilton Primary School and then The Royal School, Armagh. She was an A* student, Deputy Head Girl, and excelled at everything she did. She also worked in the local Mace at Newtownhamilton and was very popular with everyone who knew her.
Sandra’s one aim in telling Jeni’s story is in the hope of educating the young people of NI to make informed choices socially, to prevent other families from experiencing a similar loss. She will simply recount what happened to Jeni to give a stark warning to our kids.
🗣️ Please spread the word and encourage attendance—this could be a life-saving conversation.
