The Grinch Townland Games - For the pride of the parish
The details for Saturday’s Grinch Games have been released and sees a number of townland amalgamations. Aghdavoyle will team up with Dromintee as will Edenappa, Carricasticken and Tievecrom.
There will also be a joining of the Faughil brethren with Faughil Otra and Faughil Etra coming together to form a formidable squad. The pre competition favourites tag goes to a strong looking combination of Slieve Gullion, Cloghinnea and Annahia.
Only the townland of Carrickbroad will field independently and will be defending their title from the last time a townland challenge took place.
