U12.5 boys attended Blitz today in Ballyholland. The boys did tremendously well in their group, beating very good Carrickcruppen and Burren teams and drawing with a very strong Mayobridge side. They qualified for the cup where they played a very entertaining semi against Ballyholland. This game went down to the wire but the boys showed great heart to win by a point. They then met Mayobridge again in the final. It was another close affair but Mayobridge just had a bit more in the end and won by 2 points. Despite the weather, the boys played great football and every single game was tight and entertaining. They showed great heart throughout and can come away with their heads held high.   Many thanks to Ballyholland for a great blitz.
